FREE TO BE ME Envelope Album

I made this envelope album (approx. 6 1/4 X 8 3/4) using the "Free to Be Me" paper pack.  I used all three CTMH cricut cartridges for embellishments and some of the Artbooking
pages.  All pages have pockets for more pics or tags. I love how these colors go together (ruby, gold, mint, tan, teal and white daisy. Leave me a comment.  Let me know what you think.

Paper Fundamentals Basic Assortment Paper Pack

I used the new Paper Fundamentals Basic Assortment Paper Pack from Close to My Heart to complete the next three layouts.  This pack consists of cardstock embossed on one side and printed on the other with coordinating patterns.  The papers can be used together as you see in the layouts or other papers can be added for a pop of color.  I used the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge from CTMH for the wood look overlay on the second layout.  LOVE this Cricut Cartridge.  Check out my website to see the paper pack, the cartridge and many more products from Close to My Heart or contact me for a copy of our SPRING/SUMMER Ideabook at kjbell58@yahoo.com or 607-398-8241

SKYLARK LAYOUTS

Mom turned "80":  We celebrated mom's 80th Birthday on April 13, 2014.  About 20 of us were able to make it.  Sad because dad wasn't there but happy because she is a young 80.  May you have many more, mom, love U.

My cousins Tammy Shutter and Diane Kedrovitch (spelling)
came over on April 4, 2014 and we drank some wine, had some snacks, chatted and laughed all that Friday night.
The Skylark Paper Pack from CTMH is available through my website kreationsbykathy.ctmh.com

SURF'S UP LAYOUT/Current news

CURRENT NEWS

So much has happened in my life that has kept me away from posting on my blog.
My youngest daughter had brain surgery on October 30, 2013.  We were able to travel to Michigan to be with her before and after surgery.  Surgery went well and she continues to recover.   We got to spend some time with our grandaughter Mia.  What a beautiful little girl and so smart!
While we were in Michigan we were able to drive to Illinois and visit my nephew, his wife, their little girls and their newborn son, Benjamin Ryan Labuski.                                                                      In December my stepson and his girlfriend welcomed a new baby boy and named him Uriyah Moses.  We haven't been able to see him yet but can't wait until we can travel again to Michigan and Illinois to visit all the family we have there.
Sadly the end of the year ended on a tragic note.  My 82 year old father passed away from cancer.  He had been in pain for 6 months or more and was being treated for the wrong diagnosis.  We didn't discover this in time and so lost him to Stage 4 cancer.  He was a gentle, sweet man and will be missed so much.  Still trying to deal with the heartache!
I'm just now getting in the mood to scrap so I will add two layouts I completed this week.

This layout is of my two grandnieces and is made with the Surf's Up Paper Packet from Close to My Heart.
This layout is titled "Finally a Baby Boy" because my niece and nephew have 5 girls between them and really wanted a boy.
I'm working on layouts of my granddaughter Mia and my new grandson Uriyah and will share when I have them completed.  I'm waiting on my new paper packs from the Spring/Summer 2014 Ideabook  from CTMH because the colors will match my pictures.
HAPPY SCRAPPING!!!!!
